Positive: This delightful 1930s property is in a beautiful quiet location on a cliff top by the ocean. The beach and the tessellated pavement are a short walk from the hotel. The restaurant and cafe are open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. A light breakfast or breakfast packs are available. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Negative: I thought that the bedroom could have had heavier curtains and some bedrooms are accessed by stairs only. The restaurant menu doesn’t mention special dietary options. A number of meals are served with slaw and chips but a vegetable alternative isn’t offered. Breakfast is available from 8:30 to 10:00am but there are breakfast packs if you need to leave earlier.

Summary: A lovely, comfortable hotel with stunning ocean views.
