Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Pleasant and helpful front desk staff. A big asset of the hotel is the location : across from the major ski lifts and gondolas ;across from all the bus stops . There are cafes and restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel. Be aware there is "Meribel Village" ( up the mountain a bit, a very small place with one ski lift ,a small grocery store and a few restaurants ) and "Meribel Center" ,which is where this hotel is located,and is the center of activity for Meribel. Breakfast offered many healthful options .I found the dinner options very limited,and next time would omit the half-board option.

Negative: As is the case at many French hotels a machine,not a human ,makes your morning coffee. But I found a charming cafe nearby that hand crafted my soy cappuccinos each morning.

Summary: Casually luxurious,well located quiet boutique hotel.
