Breakfast was really good, with fresh options and a calm setting to start the day. The whole stay felt effortless — smooth check-in, quiet nights, and a sense that everything is taken care of. It’s rare to find a hotel where everything simply works as it should, but this one definitely managed that. I’d be glad to come back.

Summary: We loved our stay at Hotel Emma. We arrived late and used the self-check in service, which was very smooth. We were not in Östersund very long, so it was wonderful to stay in a central location to get a feel for the town. Loved that they sold some local products in their lobby. Great breakfast.

Summary: The room was well equipped. The Breakfast was very good. I missed nothing.
Our room (33) could use a renovation. The ceiling was cracked and the paint was peeling.
The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Summary: Really quaint property located in shopping district.
The breakfast they offered was great and so was the staff.
Negative: we parked where we understood was an allowed space in parking garage nearby but got a 600 krona ticket.

Summary: This was our second time staying at Hotel Emma. It is a small hotel with large rooms, a nice breakfast area and a lounge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in looked like the bathroom had just been renovated. The hotel in conveniently located on the main shopping street so that we were able to walk to restaurants and activities. I highly recommend Hotel Emma.
