Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Very friendly and most helpful staff, though it did help that several of us spoke French. Modern rooms with everything we needed. We appreciated the elevator. The fact that the restaurant was closed while we were there was probably a good thing, as it was very quiet in the rooms directly above the otherwise lively terrace.

Negative: While the hotel is open 24/7 we were not aware that the restaurant is closed for two days at the beginning of the week. However, the nice owners came in especially on their "off day" to bring breakfast to the restaurant for the hotel guests. For dinner, we drove to the surrounding Basque villages for some authentic local cuisine.

Summary: Newly renovated, comfortable rooms and a public parking lot not far off
