Positive: Our room was in an old homestead type building with the room itself fully refurbished but the shell in its original format, complete with creaky boards and old style door locks. It was unique and quite quaint. Room itself was excellent with a good bed and easy to sleep on. Bathroom had a spa bath which added to the enjoyment. The hotel is some distance from a town yet there seemed to be a lot of people there at all times and lots of attractions in close driving vicinity. Dinner was standard hotel fare with similar prices. There seemed to be a lot to do at the place during the day and the rose garden and night walk are worth doing. Good place to stay.

Negative: Access to the room was a little 'hairy' having to drive through narrow openings and turning down a blind dirt incline but the way out was much easier.

Summary: Good value and close to lots
