A small oasis in the castle park of the Utzschneider chateau. Your holiday domicile "Le bois de Robin" is close to the city and yet romantic amidst tall trees. We look forward to welcoming you as our guests. Our house is at ground level and barrier-free!
The house has a living space of 82m². It consists of a large living room with an integrated and fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a large bathroom with shower and bathtub, a separate toilet and a storage room. In the two bedrooms there are two beds (90 x 200 cm) that can be put together to form a large double bed. In addition, the sofa in the living room can be converted into a bed. The house has underfloor heating and a fireplace. There is also a washing machine and dryer in the storage room. In summer you can eat at a table with four chairs on the terrace. Of course, the house has fast internet, WiFi and television. Underfloor heating, firewood, bed linen and towels are included in the price. If required, we will provide you with baby equipment (bed, high chair, changing table, bathtub, bottle warmer).
The house has a beautiful garden with tall trees. Enjoy the tranquility in the middle of nature on your private terrace or the view of the castle from the hammock between the trees.
The site is fenced and you have two private parking spaces in front of the house. Access is only possible for our guests via an electric gate.
Our holiday home is located in the middle of the former Utzschneider park, the founder of the Faiencerie in Saargemünd. You have a wonderful view of the castle and a beautiful fountain. Shops of all kinds can be found in the immediate vicinity and the city center of Saargemünd can be reached in 20 minutes on foot. The region has a lot to offer: visit the Faiencerie Museum, the five-star Saarland thermal baths or one of the many gourmet restaurants. Other tourist attractions are the Völklingen Ironworks, the Bliesbrück Reinheim European Cultural Park, the Bitch Citadel, the Simserhof and much more. Le bois de Robin is also an excellent starting point for sports activities. Discover the well-developed network of cycle paths and several golf courses in the area. The wonderful landscape is the Biesgau Biosphere Reserve - Germany's orchid country, in which almost half of all orchid species occurring nationwide grow. Cultural highlights are the Christmas market and the Saint Paul festival at the end of June. There's a lot to discover!
There is a bus stop in front of the castle. However, the buses only run at longer intervals since the distance to the city center is easy to manage.
