Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The stay was in general good. The room, although small had all the necessary amenities and very efficient heating. A small fridge would have been very useful but since we visited in January, the freezing weather kept our stuff cold, in a bag, on the window sill !! We didn't get to try breakfast as we preferred to have a lie in but 14€ per person sounds a bit much. The only serious negative thing was the really poor sound proofing so every morning the noise of other guests and the maids cleaning, would wake us up much earlier than we'd like ! If you're a light sleeper, think again! General decor and atmosphere was very well tended to and the staff was very friendly. Also the room was clean and they change the linen every 3 days or so. The location was very good, not terribly central but near three metro stations and right in the middle of "china town" so you have many many options for Asian dining right at your feet ( BlingBling Vietnamese across the street was the best !) Given the relatively reasonable price, I would generally recommend the hotel.

Negative: Soundproofing was non existent and the bed although comfortable enough, had a slight "slope" towards the center. Nothing too terrible for us but some light sleepers may find that very annoying
