Welcome to Bronte Park Retreat. This outstanding much loved getaway is set in one of the most beautiful area of the Central Highlands.
Spectacular for all guests. We offer 2 nights to extended monthly stays.
Perfect simple home, catering comfortably for 6 and outside pets.
2 stylish and comfortable bedrooms with a King, 2 Single and a Double pull-out sofa in the lounge.
Ambient warm wood heater ( with ample firewood supplied).
FREE Wifi to stay connected.
Ample FREE Parking ( one undercover)
Full kitchen, with fridge and freezer, oven and stovetop, microwave, and all the cooking equipment, utensils and dining ware.
Please be sure to bring your own food supplies. Complimentary coffee/ tea and sugar is supplied.
There is a general store 2 minutes away, with super friendly owner and staff. You will be warmly greeted by Shane and Jenny. Jenny provides nurturing wildlife support to all wombats found injured or abandoned in the region.
However please note while the general store provides basic supplies, fishing gear and serves hot foods like pies and fish n chips. It closes daily at 5.30pm.
Also please note the general store only sells Diesel, NO Unleaded.
Petrol can be sought at Ouse, 60km toward Hobart. 35km to Derwent Bridge Roadhouse on the way to the West Coast. Or Great Lake hotel shop at Miena, which is 30km North towards Launceston on a dirt road.
If needing a Tesla charger, the Highland Cabins, around the corner from the chalet, may be able to assist.
There is a Dining area and lounge, which extends on to a fabulous deck to take in the magnificent views and connect with the local wildlife and glorious surrounds.
Bathroom with the shower over bath, and complimentary beauty products.
The laundry hosts a washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board, basket, vacuum cleaner.
All linens and towels are provided
Fully fenced secure yard for your pets.
There is an emergency kit if required, if there was to be a power outage.
